JAIN Online launches MCA in artificial intelligence; batch starts on October 26
The JAIN Online MCA programme will cover subjects including Java programming, machine learning foundations, big data management, and advanced machine learning.

NEW DELHI: JAIN Online, the e-learning platform of JAIN deemed-to-be-university, has introduced a new online Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme specialising in Artificial Intelligence (AI). The programme is designed to equip learners with a comprehensive understanding of AI concepts and their practical applications.
According to the official press release, the upcoming batch is scheduled to start on October 26, 2024, with a course duration of two years. The programme includes micro-lessons, virtual labs, recorded sessions, and essential study materials to enhance the learning experience.
The programme will have four semesters and cover a wide range of subjects, including data communication and computer networks, data structures with algorithms, Java programming, foundations of machine learning, prediction using machine learning, advanced web technologies, big data management and analytics, and advanced machine learning.
JAIN Online MCA Programme: Eligibility
Candidates should fulfil the following eligibility criteria for the JAIN Online MCA programme given below.

Candidates should have completed the undergraduate (Bachelor's) programme with a minimum duration of three years in any stream from a university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

A minimum aggregate score of 50% or an equivalent letter/numerical grade. A relaxation of 5% is provided for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates.

Candidates in the final semester of their Bachelor's programme are also eligible to apply.

The curriculum includes a master's thesis, a final-semester project, and a choice of cross-functional electives in their final semester, such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, IoT, human-computer interaction, and business intelligence and analytics. Graduates of the programme can pursue careers as AI engineers, data scientists, NLP engineers, machine learning specialists, big data analysts, AI research scientists, and AI software developers.
While explaining the programme's significance, the vice-chancellor of JAIN deemed-to-be-university, Raj Singh, said, "The Online MCA in Artificial Intelligence is essential as it will provide learners with advanced technical knowledge. AI is transforming industries across the globe, and this programme will equip learners with the skills to build intelligent systems, analyze large datasets, and develop innovative solutions. It is not just about learning AI, but applying it to real-world challenges to allow graduates to become valuable assets in today's rapidly evolving AI space”.
