Jain University to hold youth festival from February 6

Jain University is set to hold youth festival from February 6 to March 2023. The event will have nine events organised by various departments.

NEW DELHI: Jain (deemed-to-be University) will be holding its youth festival from February 6, 2023. The fest aims to provide an opportunity for students to showcase their skills in various fields and achieve excellence.

Under the umbrella of the Jain University youth festival 2023, multiple departments of the university such as the faculty of engineering and technology, science, management, commerce, arts, humanities and social sciences and creative arts and design will be organising the events.

The youth fest will give students a platform to embrace professionalism, enhance culture and provide entertainment to the public. The schedule has multiple events organised while celebrities and artists such as Priyank Sharma, Naser al Azzeh, Sharman Joshi, Rahul Subramanian, Akash Gupta, Urooj Ashfaq, Saroj Khan, Priya Mani, and Soha Ali Khan, among others will be participating in the fest.

In its previous editions, the fest has seen a participation of over 15,000 people from universities across the world such as Indian School of Business (ISB), SP Jain Global, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India Institutes of Management, Christ University, St Joseph's University, Mount Carmel College, and universities from Singapore, Netherlands, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Dubai, Nepal, Germany, etc.

The first event scheduled at the Jain University youth festival is 'Tarusamskruti' organised by the faculty of commerce on February 6, 2023. The schedule is as follows- 'Pulse' by the faculty of commerce; 'Nexus' by faculty of sciences; 'CMS Festival' by faculty of management; 'Aakar' organised by faculty of creativity and design; 'Meraki' by school of interior design; 'AIONIA' presented by school of allied healthcare and sciences and lastly 'Infinity' by faculty of engineering and technology in March 2023.

"A legacy spanning over two decades, numerous fests organized by various schools of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) have mustered this year to accomplish- the JAIN University Youth Festival to an event that unveils magnanimity, excellence and perfection," said the statement.
