NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has made the information brochure of the Joint Admission Test for Master (JAM) 2024 available. The jam.iitm.ac.in is hosting the JAM 2024 information brochure.

JAM is held for admission to programmes including MSc, MSc (Technology), MSc-MTech Dual Degree, MS (R), Joint MSc-PhD, MSc- PhD Dual Degree, and Integrated PhD in various institutes.
To apply for admission to a desired programme, a candidate will be required to qualify in the relevant test paper, satisfy the eligibility requirements (ERs) and minimum educational qualifications (MEQs) of the respective academic programmes.
Candidates who have either completed or will be appearing in the final examination of their qualifying degree in 2024 are eligible to appear in JAM 2024.

IIT JAM 2024 will be held on February 11. JAM 2024 will be conducted in seven different subjects -- biotechnology (BT), chemistry (CY), economics (EN), geology (GG), mathematics (MA), mathematical statistics (MS) and physics (PH).
Questions in the IIT JAM 2024 paper will be categorized into three parts -- multiple choice questions (MCQ), multiple select questions (MSQ) and numerical answer type (NAT) questions.
Candidates qualifying in JAM 2024 are eligible to apply for admission to around 3,000 seats in IITs for the academic year 2024-25. No additional evaluation process, such as suitability test or interview is required for admission to the programmes in admitting institutes under JAM 2024, a statement on the IIT JAM 2024 information brochure said.
JAM 2024 scores will be used for admission to over 2,000 seats for IISc and counselling through CCMN, it added.
