JAM 2024 score card out at jam.iitm.ac.in; admission portal opens on April 10
Students applying for admission into PG programmes in IITs and IISc Bangalore on the basis of JAM 2024 scores will have to pay Rs 750 registration fee.
Candidates can download JAM previous year's papers to boost their exam preparation.

NEW DELHI : Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has hosted the link of JAM 2024 score card on the official website, jam.iitm.ac.in. Students who have passed the Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM 2024) will be able to download the score card till July 31. The JAM 2024 score card will be valid for one year.
IIT Madras conducted JAM 2024 for admission into MSc, MSc Tech, MS Research, MSc-MTech dual degree, Joint MSc-PhD and MSc-PhD dual degree in Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and IITs. The JAM admission 2024 portal will open on April 10.
Candidates will have to enter details, such as programme choice in order of preference, educational qualifications, CGPA or percentage of marks, and category in the admission portal. Then they need to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 750.
The JAM 2024 score card will contain details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, qualifying marks, registration number, All India Rank, marks obtained and total number of candidates.
JAM 2024 tie-breaker criteria
IIT Madras will follow the following tie-breaking criteria if two students get the same marks:
- Candidates with lower positive-to-negative marks ratio will get higher AIR
- If the tie persists, the one with the more marks in numerical aptitude type questions will get the higher rank
- In the next step, the examination authority will allot higher rank to candidates with better scores in multiple select questions (MSQs) sections.
- If there is still a tie, then the older student will get the better rank
JAM 2024 Score Card: Steps to download
Candidates can follow these steps to download the JAM 2024 score card:
- Visit the official website, jam.iitm.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on the ‘JAM 2024 score card’ link
- Enter the enrolment ID or email ID and password
- Enter the captcha and click on the ‘Submit’ tab
- JAM scorecard 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
