Jamia Millia Islamia alumni’s pregnancy pillow start-up clocks revenue of Rs 2 crore in a year
JMI: The startup is looking forward to capturing the US, Mexico and Canada market with a launch in May 2022 and with a projection of Rs 50 crores.

NEW DELHI: Quilt Comfort, a pregnancy pillow start-up, founded in 2020 by three alumni of Jamia Millia Islamia Md Mubashshir Naseer, Nadeem Akhter and Arafat Aziz; has created the world’s biggest collection of pregnancy pillows within a very short period of time and has become India’s biggest brand in the segment.
“The start-up by Jamia alumnus with its twenty unique products in two categories is providing expecting moms with a smoother journey during this time,” the JMI said.

Quilt Comfort has 20 unique products in two categories; mother care and baby care. They have clocked revenue of Rs 2.25 crore in last one year with the sale of more around 20 thousand units.
The startup is also looking forward to capturing the US, Mexico and Canada market with an impending launch in May 2022 and with a projection of Rs 50 crores for this financial year.
“As the biggest brand in the segment, the startup is working tirelessly to create awareness around pregnancy pillows and the pregnancy conditions they manage. This D2C Brand recently onboarded Kajal Aggarwal and increased the market size by three times within a week,” the institute said.

They sell their product directly on their official website along with Flipkart and Amazon and First-cry. Their first retail store is slated to open in Kerala, in June, after US, Mexico and Canada launch.
Quilt Comfort’s Pregnancy Pillows have been endorsed by renowned celebrities like film actress Kajal Aggarwal, television actress Pooja Banerjee and Aswathy Sreekanth etc.
Recently, Kajal Aggarwal shared pictures with the pillow of Quilt Comfort and wrote “Introducing my dearest friend during my Pregnancy.
