NEW DELHI, June 18The result of JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test or AAT 2018 has been announced by IIT Kanpur on June 18 in online mode. Candidates who appeared in the exam on June 14 will be able to check their result by using their login credentials. However, for those who appeared in the entrance exam on June 17, the result for them will be announced on June 20.

The entrance exam was conducted for admission to B.Arch programme offered by IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur. Candidates need to have qualified JEE Advanced entrance exam to be eligible for AAT exam.

Steps to check result

Candidates can follow the steps given below to check and download their result:

  • Visit the official website of JEE Advanced

  • Enter the credentials required to login – JEE Advanced 2018 registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email address

  • The result will be displayed on the screen

  • Candidates must check all the details mentioned over the result and download it

  • Take a print out of the result and keep it safe

Details mentioned over AAT result

Candidates will be able to check the following things in the AAT result including scores and ranks obtained:

  • Name of the candidate

  • Roll number/ registration number

  • Qualifying status

  • Scores obtained

  • Rank secured

What after result?

The qualified candidates of the entrance exam will be allotted seats on the basis of their ranks. The allotment will done through JoSAA, the registration for which will commence from June 19. Candidates will have to register to be able to participate in the JoSAA counselling process.

  • Candidates will be able to check their scores in the result released

  • The authorities will not allocate separate ranks to the qualified candidates of AAT

  • Candidates who will fulfil the cutoff will be considered as qualified and will be able to participate in counselling and admission procedure further

  • Seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of ranks secured by them in the exam
