JEE Advanced 2018 Registration Starts; Last date is May 7

NEW DELHI, MAY 2: IIT Kanpur has released the online application form for JEE Advanced 2018. Candidates who have qualified JEE Main examination and meet the eligibility criteria as specified will be able to register from today. Final date to submit the application form is May 7, 2018. With late fees, the candidates will be able to register till May 8, 2018. To login and fill the application form, the candidates will need to submit their JEE Main roll number and password. Since the application form is available only for six days, all candidates are advised to register as soon as possible.

How to fill JEE Advanced 2018 application form?

Since the application process is online, the candidates are requested to have good internet connectivity. No other mode of application is available. The steps listed below can be followed by the candidates to fill and submit the application form:

Step 1 – Registration: Firstly, the candidates will have to log in through the registration portal which is now available in the official website. JEE Main roll number and password has to be submitted after which the candidates will be able to access the dashboard where personal, academic and contact details of the candidates (as submitted during JEE Main) will be present in read only mode. Additional information such as, selection of language of question paper (English or Hindi), Exam Centre and total number of attempts.

Step 2 – Uploading of Scanned Documents – Next, the candidates will have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature. Along with these, various documents also have to be uploaded.

Step 3 – Payment of Fees – After successfully uploading the documents, the candidates will have to pay the registration fee through online (Debit Card/Credit Card/ Internet Banking) or offline mode (Cash using SBI option). Fee paybale is Rs 2600 for Gen/OBC while it is Rs 1300 for female/SC/ST/Pwd candidates 

Step 4 – Printing of Confirmation Page – Finally after payment, the candidates will have to print out the generated confirmation page.

It is important to register for JEE Advanced since the hall ticket will not be generated for the unregistered candidates. With very little time given for the registration process, the candidates are expected to be alert and fill and submit the application form before the final date.

JEE Advanced 2018 will be conducted in online mode for the first time in history on May 20. Known as the gateway for IIT admissions, JEE Advanced provides admissions in around 10, 572 B.Tech seats offered by 23 Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).
