Try NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, has issued a notice for OBC-NCL and EWS candidates appearing for the JEE Advanced 2021. Students are directed to upload a valid OBC-NCL/ EWS certificate by October 2 on the JEE Advanced official website- jeeadv.ac.in.

“If you do not possess a valid OBC-NCL/EWS certificate issued after April 1, 2021, you may submit a declaration in place of the certificate. However, you must upload a valid certificate (issued after April 1, 2021) by October 2, 2021, 17:00 IST in the online portal,” the notice read.
JEE Advanced 2021: How to upload OBC-NCL, EWS certificate
- Visit the official website- jeeadv.ac.in
- Check for the “Notice to OBC-NCL, EWS candidates” updates
- Candidates will find a link that says “Click here to download the OBC-NCL Declaration form and EWS Declaration form”
- Click on it, a new page will appear on the screen
- Applicants will find the certificate format of JEE Advanced 2021
- Download the certificate, fill in the details and submit.
It must be noted that the IIT Kharagpur on September 4 had released an updated version of JEE Advanced 2021 information brochure . The authorities have also changed the format of certificates that have to be uploaded during the JEE Advanced registration 2021.
“New certificate formats featuring changes in (a) FORM-PWD (III), (b) FORM-PWD (IV), (c) Declaration by the candidate in lieu of OBC-NCL certificate and (d) Declaration by the candidate in lieu of GEN-EWS certificate are uploaded,” the notice read.

The JEE Advanced 2021 registration process started on September 16 and will end on September 20, 2021. The last date for fee payment is till September 21, 2021. OBC-NCL, EWS candidates can upload the certificate by 5 pm on October 2. The JEE Advanced exam date is October 3.
