Try NowNEW DELHI : The highest Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced rank at which an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) closed admission to unreserved seats for BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering last year was 1,421 at IIT Roorkee. JEE Advanced 2022 result will be announced on September 11.

The IIT cut-offs for BTech in ECE have not been announced yet. However, students can check the previous year’s cut-offs to get an idea about the JEE Advanced 2022 rank required to get admission into various IITs. Students will have to register for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling 2022.

Six rounds of JoSAA counselling were held last year and the closing ranks of the unreserved category for BTech in ECE at IITs are given below.

IIT Kharagpur offers BTech in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering for which the closing rank is 1,132 for male candidates and 2,780 for female candidates. On the other hand, IIT Guwahati is the only institute to offer BTech in Electronics and Electrical Engineering for which the male candidates’s closing rank is 2,221 and female’s is 6,041.
