NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati will accept the choice of scribes by JEE Advanced candidates who are in PWD category or have less than 40% disability in writing exam. All the registered candidates can choose scribes on the official website of JEE Advanced 2023 at jeeadv.ac.in today. No personal scribes will be allowed in the examination hall.

The scribe will only read the JEE Advanced question paper to the candidate and key the answer provided by the candidate. The scribe will not be allowed to explain any question or suggest any answers. The candidate will now be allowed to meet the scribe today, June 3, in the presence of IIT representatives, test centre administrator and an invigilator. Thereafter, the candidates can choose a scribe for the JEE advanced 2023 date June 4.
As per the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, the following candidates have the provision of using scribe services as they might not be able to attempt computer-based examination:
all candidates who are visually impaired or
severely dyslexic or
have disabilities in upper limps or
have lost fingers or hands
Have less than 40% disability
JEE Advanced exam date 2023 is June 4. The JEE Advanced 2023 will include two papers. The first paper is from 9 am to 12 noon and second paper from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
