Try NowThe Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has started the online registration process for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 for foreign nationals and overseas citizen of India (OCI), overseas citizen of India (PIO) candidates. Interested and eligible applicants can apply through the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. The last date to submit the application form is May 2 and the exam will be held on May 17.
As per JEE advanced official information bulletin , candidates who are not Indian citizens, either by birth or naturalisation, will be treated as foreign nationals. Seats allotted to these candidates are supernumerary in nature and are limited to a maximum of 10% of the total seats available in each course.
These candidates are not covered under the reservation categories such as GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, or PwD, and no sub-categories apply to them. Additionally, there is no separate quota for female candidates within the foreign national category.
Foreign national applicants are not required to appear for JEE Main 2026 . They can directly register for JEE Advanced 2026, provided they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.
Candidates holding OCI, PIO cards issued before March 4, 2021, can choose to apply either as foreign nationals or be considered on par with Indian candidates for JEE Advanced 2026.

On the homepage, click on the “JEE Advanced 2026 Registration” link.

You will be redirected to a new page where you need to complete the registration process by entering the required details.

After successful registration, submit the details and proceed further.

Log in using your credentials and carefully fill out the application form.

Upload the necessary documents and verify all entered information.

Pay the application fee through the available online payment options.

Finally, submit the form and download the confirmation page.

Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
