JEE Main 2018 offline exam to be conducted next week

NEW DELHI, MARCH 29: CBSE will be conducting the offline mode of JEE Main 2018 examination on April 8. Both Paper I (B.Tech) and Paper II (B.Arch) will be conducted on the same day. JEE Main 2018 Paper I will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM while Paper II will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM. The candidates are requested to reach the exam centres atleast two and half hours before the determined time since there will be strong security checks.

It is absolutely essential for the candidates to carry their admit card. Entry without the admit card will not be allowed by the authorities. Electronic devices will not be allowed inside the examination centre and metal detectors will be present. All materials will be provided to the candidates, however, those who are attempting Paper II (B.Arch) will have to carry their own geometry set, pencils, erasers, colour pencils or crayons. The candidates are requested to read all of the guidelines before the exam date.

  • Revision – The most important tip during the last minute preparation is revision. The candidates should revise and analyze their weak points for improvement.
  • Attempt Mock Tests – Taking mock tests are the best way to get familiar with the exam pattern. Through the mock tests, the candidates can strategize to prepare better for the exam.
  • Don’t Take on New Topics – The candidates are advised not to take on new chapters and topics but to strengthen whatever they have studied till now.
  • Create Notes and Revise Them – Small notes should be created so that the candidates can revise them anywhere and anytime.
  • Rest Well and be Healthy – Along with studying, it is very important for the candidates to be healthy. Sleep well and eat healthy.

While the offline JEE Main exam will be held on April 8, the online mode for Paper I (B.Tech) will be conducted on April 15 and 16, 2018.
