JEE Main 2019 Application Correction starts; Changes can be made till October 14

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 8: National Test Agency(NTA), the conducting body of JEE Main 2019 has started the application form correction facility from October 8. The registered candidates who have entered incorrect data while filling up the application form can make the required corrections using their login credentials. The correction window will remain active from October 8 (10 am) to October 14 (11: 50 pm).
Candidates are required to login using their JEE Main application form and password to make the required changes in the application form. It is not allowed to make changes in the exam cities. A certain amount of fee will have to be paid if it becomes due after the corrections. No changes will be accepted through any other mode i.e. through fax/application including e-mail etc. It must be noted that no corrections will be allowed after this time period gets over.
The conducting authority has announced the date and shift of JEE Main on October 5. Candidates can login using the application number and security code to check the allotted date and shift of the exam. Paper-1 will be conducted on January 10, 11 and 12 in two shifts; first shift will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. However, as per the notification released by the authorities, Paper-2 will be conducted only on January 8 in two shifts.
The exam city for Paper 1 & 2 will be announced on October 21. Details of the allotted exam centre will be mentioned on the admit card which will be released on December 17.
JEE Main is conducted for the admission to various B.Tech/B.E. programmes offered by 31 NITs, 23 IIITs, and 23 CFTIs. According to the official reports, over 9.65 lakh engineering aspirants have registered for the first attempt of the entrance exam for which the registration process is already over now.
