NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 13: NTA will disable the one-time correction facility for application form of JEE Main 2019 on October 14 at 11:50 p.m. Candidates can make corrections or changes in their submitted application form on or before the last date.
The facility was enabled on October 8 at 10 am for candidates to submit correct information to the authorities.
During the correction period, candidates can make changes in all of the information in their submitted application form like personal details, educational details, medium of exam, name, date of birth etc., except in the city of exam.
At the time of correction, candidates will be required to pay the additional fee if it becomes due. Supposedly, if a candidate is changing his or her category from reserved to General, then he or she will have to pay the requisite application fee for that category. In case of a candidate changing his or her category from General to reserved, then the extra amount paid will not be refunded.
Using the correction facility, for those wanting to appear in both Paper 1 and 2 will also be required to pay the extra amount.
This additional fee, if it's applicable can be paid through Credit/ Debit card/ Net banking & UPI only.
After closing of the correction facility, the authorities will announce the exam cities for both Paper 1 & 2 of JEE Main 2019 exam on October 21.
The exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 9, 10, 11 & 12 for Paper 1 and on January 8 for Paper 2.
