JEE Main 2019 Exam Dates and Shifts announced; Paper-2 to be held on January 8

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 6 : National Test Agency(NTA) has announced the exam dates and shifts of JEE Main 2019. Registered candidates can check the date and shift allotted to them by visiting the official site of NTA. Candidates will have to enter the application number and security code to login and check the allotted date and shift. The authorities have also announced that Paper-2 will be conducted on January 8, 2019 in two shifts. The exam city for Paper 1 & 2 will be announced on October 21.
JEE Main 2019 paper 1 will be conducted on January 6, 12, 13, 19 & 20 as the exam is scheduled to be organised only on weekends. It will be held in two shifts; first shift will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. However, as per the notification released by the authorities Paper-2 will be conducted only on January 8 in two shifts.
The authorities will commence the application form correction facility from October 8, 2018. Candidates who made mistakes while filling up the application form will get an opportunity to rectify the errors between the period from October 8 to 14. It must be noted that no request for any changes in the application form will be entertained after this date.
The registration process for the January session of JEE Main 2019 has concluded. According to the official reports, over 9.65 lakh engineering aspirants have registered for the first attempt of the entrance exam. JEE Main is conducted for the admission to various B.Tech/B.E. programmes offered by 31 NITs, 23 IIITs, and 23 CFTIs.
