JEE Main 2019 registrations to begin from September 1

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 27: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the schedule for JEE Main 2019 to be conducted in January and April. The online registrations for the January session of JEE Main will begin from September 1. Candidates can register online for the computer based test till September 30. The steps to apply online for the exam includes registration, filling up the application form, uploading the required documents and payment of the prescribed examination fee. JEE Main 2019 for January session will be held as a computer based test from January 6 to 20.
Steps to apply online:

Aadhaar card/ identity card authentication: The first and foremost step will be the authentication through aadhaar card or identity proof. Details of the submitted Aadhaar card will be matched with the details stored in UID database.

Filling up the application form: All the required details including personal details, academic details, contact details, exam details have to be entered and submitted.

Mobile number and email id verification: The next step is to verify the mobile number and email id.

Uploading the required documents: The scanned copy of the required documents which includes candidate’s photograph, candidate’s signature and the signature of Father/ Mother/ Guardian has to be uploaded in the format prescribed by the authorities.

Fee payment: The payment of examination fee can be done online through Debit card, credit card/ internet banking or offline by downloading the E -challan and depositing the fee at the nearest Syndicate Bank/ICICI Bank/Canara Bank. The examination fee varies according to the gender, category, etc.

Print out of the acknowledgment page: The acknowledgment slip has to be downloaded and a print out has to be taken for the future reference.
