The NTA official also claimed that almost 99 percent of the candidates have been allotted their first choice of exam centres.
NTA had opened the facility to change the location of the preferred exam centres for all registered candidates. Only 332 candidates used this facility and requested for a centre change.
Debate on JEE Main 2020 Postponement

While NTA and many academicians believe that the exam should not be further postponed as it will affect the academic future of the students, many political figures and students/parents are appealing to the authorities to postpone the exam due to the rising cases of COVID-19 in India. Students have also been trending hashtags to support the postponement of JEE Main, However, NTA has remained firm that the examination will be conducted as scheduled.
