MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026 LIVE: Round 3, online stray vacancy round schedule out at mcc.gov.in

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2026 counselling schedule for round 3 and the online stray vacancy round. The MCC counselling covers 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 100% seats of deemed universities, central universities, AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses.

NEET UG Counselling 2026: Key dates

As per the schedule, NEET UG round 3 registration and fee payment will be held from September 22 to 27, 2026. Candidates can fill and lock their choices from September 23 to 28, while the round 3 seat allotment result will be announced on September 30. Candidates allotted seats will have to report to their respective institutes from October 1 to 9, 2026.

The online stray vacancy round will be conducted in October. The NEET UG counselling registration and payment will begin on October 12 and continue till October 14, 2026. Choice filling will be available from October 12 to 15, and the stray vacancy seat allotment result will be released on October 17, 2026.

The MCC NEET UG round 2 counselling process is currently underway. Candidates who allotted seats in round 2 have to report to their allotted institutes between September 12 and 18, 2026. Institutes will verify the data of joined candidates on September 19.

MCC has also directed participating institutes and colleges to treat Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days to ensure that the NEET UG 2026 counselling schedule is completed within the prescribed timeline.
