NEW DELHI: JEE Main admit card release is likely anytime soon today at the JEE Main official website which is jeemain.nta.nic.in or nta.ac.in. Applicants will be able to download the JEE Main admit card at jeemain.nta.nic.in through the candidate login by entering their application number and date of birth. They can even download their JEE main 2020 admit card by entering their application number and password. JEE Main exam date is September 1 to 6.

As per the official notification, the admit card release date of JEE Main 2020 is,” The dates of downloading of Admit Cards indicating Roll Number and Centre of Examination will be displayed 15 days before the conduct off the examination on the official websites of NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and JEE (Main) (jeemain.nta.nic.in."
In an interview with Careers360 on May 16 which can be viewed here, NTA Director General, Vineet Joshi had given some guidelines of how JEE Main 2020 would be conducted in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and the precautions that would be taken by the authorities. He mentioned that single-entry system would be implemented at the exam hall, barricades set to prevent group gathering near the gates along with thermal screening, proper sanitising and adherence to the guidelines issued by authorities.
While the official JEE Main admit card 2020 release date and time is August 15 for the exam to be held from September 1 to 6, various PILs have been filed in the courts for postponement as well as holding the JEE Main exam as scheduled.
On August 14, a group of parents have moved the Supreme Court on August 14 to prevent further postponement of JEE Main and NEET 2020. Earlier on August 9, a Gujarat parents’ group filed PIL asking the court to hold NEET, JEE Main 2020 in Sept.
This was filed after a group of 11 students filed a PIL requesting postponement of the JEE Main exam. The hearing is scheduled on August 17 for this case in the Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, The India Wide Parents Association, has also approached the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Home Affairs to postpone JEE 2020 and NEET 2020 exams.
