NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded JEE Main 2020 April/September session on September 6. The entrance examination for admissions into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs was held from September 1 to 6. While there were rising pleas and protests against JEE Main, the government went ahead and gave a green light to the national level entrance examination. COVID SOPs were followed by the authorities and all students were instructed to follow the social distancing norms. According to the authorities, around 8,58,273 candidates had registered for JEE Main 2020 April/September session.

When will the JEE Main answer key be released?
Since the examination is over, JEE Main 2020 answer key is expected to be released soon i.e, tentatively by September 7. The provisional answer key will consist of the correct answers to the entrance examination. Along with the answer key, the individual candidate response sheet will also be made available at the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
NTA JEE Main Result 2020 - Official Date and Process to Download
NTA will be releasing the JEE Main 2020 result tentatively by September 11 at the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. To access the result, the candidates will have to enter their application number and password in the JEE Main login window. The scores obtained by the candidates will be available through the result along with the allotted ranks.
What is the expected cutoff of JEE Mains 2020?
Along with the JEE Main April 2020 result, the qualifying cutoff will also be released. The qualifying cutoff will consist of the scores that the candidates will have to secure for higher chances of JEE Advanced eligibility. As per JEE Main updates, the number of candidates who appeared for the exam has decreased for this session. Therefore, the candidates can also expect a decreased qualifying cutoff of JEE Main 2020.

After the result is announced, the JEE Main qualified candidates will have two options - JEE Advanced or admissions into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. For admissions, the candidates will have to register for JoSAA which is an online counseling process. JEE Advanced 2020 is conducted for IIT admissions and the registrations will start from September 12. For B.Arch admissions into IITs, the candidates will have to register for Architecture Aptitude Test also.
