NEW DELHI: Apart from National Institutes of Technology (NITs), students take admission to various Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) through the JEE Main exam.

Admissions to IIITs are done through different modes such as JEE Main score or UGEE exam.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the JEE Main 2021 examination in four phases this year. The JEE Main 2021 results were declared on September 15. According to the ministry of education, a total of 44 candidates have scored 100 percentile in the engineering entrance exam JEE Main 2021 while 18 candidates have shared the top rank.

The JoSAA counselling registration will begin after the JEE Advanced 2021 exam, which is scheduled for October 3 for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Candidates can apply for JoSAA counselling for admission to IIITs, NITs, CFTIs. The authorities also expected to release the JoSAA counselling schedule soon.
