NEW DELHI: The first shift of JEE Main 2021 on March 17 has been concluded. The JEE Main 2021 exam for March 17 was held from 9 AM to 12 noon. All the COVID-19 instructions have been followed at the exam centre, according to students who appeared for JEE Main 2021 today. According to the students, the overall difficulty level of the JEE Main 2021 March 17 exam was moderate.
The physics section was average in difficulty. Questions were asked from logic gates, energy in inducting capacitor, resonance, RC circuit, potentiometer.
The difficulty level of the chemistry section was easy. Questions were asked from topics including metallurgy, Borax, H2O2, polymers, Van't Hoff factor and biomolecules.
The mathematics section was moderately difficult. Questions from AGP series, reasoning, common tangents, invertible functions, eccentricity were asked.
Mathematics – Moderate to Tough level. Not a balanced section as there were multiple questions from Chapters like Differential Equations, Conic Sections, Vectors & 3D Geometry. Few Numerical Based questions were tricky and required lengthy calculations.
Physics – Easy to Moderate level. Questions asked from all Chapters with easy questions from chapters like Semi-Conductors, Current Electricity, Communication Devices & AC Circuits. Few Numerical based questions had lengthy calculations but were easy. Theory Based questions from class XII chapters of NCERT were also asked.
Chemistry - Easy level. A Balanced section with equal weightage given to chapters of Physical, Inorganic & Organic Chemistry. Covered almost all chapters of NCERT.
The NTA will release the JEE Main answer key 2021 for March 17 few days after the conclusion of the JEE Main March 2021 session, however, various coaching institutes will soon release the unofficial JEE Main answer key for March 17 based on memory-based questions.
This year, the NTA is conducting JEE Main 2021 exam in four sessions - February, March, April, and May. JEE Main 2021 March session will conclude on March 18. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into the BTech, BArch and BPlan courses offered by the participating institutes. However, the JEE Main March 2021 exam is being conducted for only BE/ BTech courses.
