NTA has released the admit card of JEE Main 2021 is available at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2021. Candidates should keep the JEE Main March 2021 admit card handy for appearing in the exam to be held on March 18 shift 2.

Resonance has shared the distribution of questions among class 11 and 12 topics for JEE Main March 17 exam.

Students who appeared for JEE Main March 17 exam and also various coaching institutes have released JEE Main exam analysis. Based on JEE Main March 17 paper analysis, the overall difficulty level was moderate. The JEE Main March 17 paper 1 analysis reflected that the exam was tough as compared to February session.

Today is the last day of JEE Main 2021 exam March session. NTA is conducting IIT JEE Main March exams from March 16 to 18 in two shifts. JEE Main 2021 answer key NTA is expected to be released by March 21.

NTA will start the JEE Main April 2021 registration with the release of JEE Main official answer key, as per the previous trends. It is expected that the JEE Main 2021 April registration form will be released by March 23.

The National Testing Agency has commenced IIT JEE Mains exam for March 18 shift 1 at 9 AM. The exam for NTA JEE Main 2021 day 3 shift 1 will be concluded at 12 noon.

NTA declared the JEE Main 2021 Feb result for paper 1 on February 8. Hence, it is expected that JEE Mains 2021 result to be released soon. National Testing Agency shall announce JEE Main 2021 paper 2 results online at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2021.

Candidates should follow the JEE Main marking scheme correctly while calculating the scores through the answer key. There is a negative marking of 1 mark in MCQs. There is no negative marking for JEE Main 2021 numerical value questions.

JEE Main 2021 April exam dates are April 27 to 30, 2021 and the dates for JEE Main May 2021 session are May 24 to 28, 2021

 NTA will release the provisional JEE Main 2021 answer keys at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2021 on or before March 23. Students will be able to raise objections, if any. NTA JEE Main March result will be released after the release of final JEE main answer key.

JEE Main March 2021 exam pattern is similar to the previous sessions. 

• The test duration is 3 hour.

• There will be 3 sections, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

• JEE Mains 2021 will be held for 300 marks.

• Students have to answer 90 questions including MCQs and numerical-value based questions

National Testing Agency mentioned the JEE Main exam timing 2021 for the March session. JEE Main 2021 March 18 exam will be held in two shifts. The shift 1 JEE Main exam timing 2021 is 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm for shift 2.

Students must follow the JEE Main exam guidelines while appearing for the exam. Today is the last day of JEE Main 2021 March session.

• Candidates should reach at least an hour before the scheduled JEE main exam time.
• Mobile, calculator, and other electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the exam hall.
• Wearing a mask is a must for all candidates.

The entry inside the exam centre is started. Gates are open now. Students should have their JEE Main march admit cand, valid ID and undertaking to get the entry.

NTA will hold the last day of JEE Main March 2021 session today on March 18 in 2 shifts. JEE Main 2021 shift 1 will start at 9 AM and conclude at 12 PM whereas the shift 2 will commence at 3 PM and ends at 6 PM. Candidates so note that the gates will be closed at least half hour before the scheduled time. Hence, reach the exam centre at least one hour before the time.

The authorities have closed the gates for JEE Main 2021 March 17 shift 2. 

Unit-wise distribution of JEE Main March 16 question paper.

The level of JEE Main 17 March shift 1 Chemistry paper was easy. All Physical, Inorganic, and Organic Chemistry have equal weightage and questions. JEE Main 2021 paper covered almost all chapters of NCERT.

The JEE Mains chemistry papere had a total of 30*questions containing 20 Multiple choice questions, and 10 Numerical based questions out of which only 5 had to be attempted. The marking scheme for multiple-choice questions was +4 for a correct response, -1 for an incorrect response, 0 if not attempted. The marking scheme for numerical based questions was +4 for correct response and 0 in all other cases. The total marks of this section were 100.

Overall, the JEE Main March 17 shift 1 paper was of moderate to tough level. Not a balanced section as there were multiple questions from Chapters like Differential Equations, Conic Sections, Vectors & 3D Geometry. Few Numerical Based questions were tricky and required lengthy calculations.

JEE Main March Maths question paper pattern

Mathematics had total 30*questions – Sec-I had 20 Multiple choice questions with Single correct answers and Sec-II had 10 Numerical based questions out which only 5 had to be attempted. Marking scheme for multiple choice questions was +4 for correct response, -1 for incorrect response, 0 if not attempted. Marking scheme for numerical based questions was +4 for correct response and 0 in all other cases. Total marks of this section were 100.

Part-I- Physics had total of 30 questions – Section 1 had 20 MCQs with Single correct answers. Section 2 had 10 Numerical based questions out of which only 5 had to be attempted. The marking scheme for multiple-choice questions was +4 for a correct response, -1 for an incorrect response, 0 if not attempted. The marking scheme for numerical-based questions was +4 for correct response and 0 in all other cases. Total marks of this section were 100.

Physics – Easy to Moderate level- There were a few Numerical based questions that had lengthy calculations. JEE Main 2021 Physics paper was easy. The questions were asked from chapters like Semi-Conductors, Current Electricity, Communication Devices, AC Circuits. Theory-Based questions from class 12th chapters of NCERT were also asked

Maths 

• JEE Main 2021 March session was difficult as compared to the feb session

• Out of the total questions asked in the JEE Main March paper, 45% were easy, 30 % moderate, and 25% difficult.

• In JEE Main Maths paper, 16 questions were asked from class 11 while 14 questions from class 12.

Physics 

• Weightage given to class 11 and 12 topics was equal. 

• Out of the total questions asked in the JEE Main March paper, 50% were easy, 35 % moderate, and 15% difficult.

Chemistry 

• Physical, organic, inorganic section was given equal weightage 

• Overall, the JEE Main 2021 March question paper was moderate 

• 38% of questions were from from 11 while 62% were from class 12 

NTA will release the JEE Main March question paper along with the solutions after the conclusion of the exam. JEE Main 2021 March question paper is not announced yet, however, it is expected to be released on March 21. Candidates will be able to access the NTA JEE Main answer key 2021 at jeemain.nta.nic.in2021.

According to Ansh Mittal who appeared in the JEE Main March 17 shift 1 paper, the mathematics section was quite difficult. Overall, questions from Physics were the easiest, followed by Chemistry and Mathematics.

Physics:  Logic gates, energy in inducting capacitor, resonance, RC circuit, potentiometer.

Chemistry: Metallurgy, Borax, H2O2, Polymers, Van't Hoff factor, Biomolecules.

Mathematics: AGP series, reasoning, common tangents, invertible functions, eccentricity, probability.

The authorities are following the precautionary measures such as thermal screening, sanitization, giving fresh face masks to students, and maintaining social distancing.

This year major changes have been introduced in the exam pattern of JEE Main 2021 paper 1. As per the new JEE Main 2021 exam pattern, paper 1 i.e BE/ B.Tech will have a total of 90 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Each subject will have two sections. Section A will be Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 5 questions out of 10. Also, there will be no negative marking for numerical value questions.

NTA has released the JEE Main March 2021 registration statistics at the official website. As per the NTA JEE Main 2021 statistics, a total of 6,19,638 candidates registered for the JEE Main 2021 second session.

The authorities have not yet released the JEE Main 2021 application form date for April session, however, the JEE registration 2021 is expected to be out in the last week of March. Candidates will be able to access the JEE Main 2021 application form at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency released the list of items along with the IIT JEE hall ticket that are allowed inside the examination hall. Apart from the items such as JEE Main March admit card 2021, self-declaration form, transparent water bottle, personal hand sanitizer (50 ml) gloves etc,  students who are diabetic are also allowed to carry sugar tablets/ fruits at the JEE Main 2021 exam centre.

The NTA released an official notification on jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in regarding the increase in the JEE Main 2021 exam centres for March, April and May sessions. On account of the requests made by various candidates and keeping in view the hardship faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NTA has added three cities of exam centres i.e  Kargil (Ladakh), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Abuja/ Lagos (Nigeria) for JEE Main 2021 exams.

The authorities released the self-declaration form regarding COVID-19 along with the JEE Main March admit card 2021. The self-declaration form consists of a declaration regarding any symptoms of cough, fever, breathlessness, sore throat/ runny nose or body ache in the last 14 days. Each candidate who wishes to appear in the JEE Main March 2021 exam is required to fill the self-declaration form and carry it to the NTA JEE Main 2021 exam centre.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the provisional JEE Main 2021 answer key for all shifts few days after the conclusion of the IIT JEE Main March exam. Candidates will be able to access the JEE Main answer key at the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in 2021. Physics- In JEE Main shift 2, questions were asked from Mechanics, Electrostatics, Magnetism, Current Electricity, Heat and Thermodynamics and optics. Some of the questions involved lengthy calculations, but overall, it was an easy to moderate level paper. Overall Paper was a lengthy 7-8 question from Modern physics and 5 questions from Radioactivity.

Chemistry- Some students reported that a couple of questions involved lengthy calculations, but these questions could be avoided by exercising the internal choice. The paper was easy to moderate; almost all the topics were covered. The chapters of classes XI and XII were given almost equal weightage and, by and large, based on NCERT content. Organic Chemistry was sufficiently asked, followed by Physical and Inorganic branches.

Mathematics- As in the other subjects, this part also contained two sections, Sections I contained 20 MCQ with single option correct type. It contained questions on Algebra, Calculus, coordinate Geometry, Vector and Three Dimensional Geometry. As usual, a few questions involved lengthy calculations. Some students reported that a few questions were somewhat tricky.

National Testing Agency has successfully concluded the JEE Main 2021 March 16 shift 2. Candidates are leaving the exam centre premises one by one. The National Testing Agency had released JEE Main March 2021 admit card on March 11 at jee main nta.nic.in. The JEE Main question paper contains a fixed number of marks for which, the JEE marking scheme is announced by NTA in advance. The JEE Main 2021 question paper and exam pattern are already announced. The JEE Main 2021 total marks are 300 for BTech paper. There will be 90 questions in total for JEE Main March 2021 with 30 questions for each section.

Expected JEE Main Cut off 

The National Testing Agency is conducting the JEE Main exam in four sessions for paper 1. However, JEE Main Paper 2 was conducted in February and another session will be held in May. JEE Main paper 2 result 2021 is expected to be announced anytime soon for February session of exam.

NTA has scheduled JEE Main 2021 April date from April 27 to 30, 2021. Candidates who did not perform well in JEE Main today paper may plan to appear in the upcoming session to improve their scores. Based on JEE Main review, the exam for March 16 shift 1 was tough as compared to JEE main February 2021 question paper. 

NTA is expected to declare JEE Main March 2021 result almost 10 days after the exam session is concluded. JEE Main BArch result 2021 for exam held on February 23 is expected to be announced anytime soon. 

The NTA JEE Main 2021 for March session is being conducted at 334 cities. Out of these, 12 cities are located outside India. NTA shall conduct JEE Main 2021 March session at the following cities overseas:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) through the official notice has announced the strict measures taken by the authorities for JEE Main 2021 March session in order to avoid any malpractices. The NTA notice specifying strict surveillance at JEE Mains 2021 test centres reads as follows:

"Live CCTV Surveillance has been planned in all IIT JEE 2021 examination centres to curb malpractices in the examination. NTA is also making arrangements for live viewing at any remote location and recording CCTVs Systems of all examination centres from the Control Room located in the NTA premises of New Delhi. In order to stop cheating using mobile networks, Jammers have been installed in all the Centres."

The National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main March 2021 registration statistics. Based on the data released for JEE Main 2021, a total of 619638 candidates registered for March session. However, as per the information released before the February session of NTA JEE Main was held, the registration statistics were 5,04,540 for March session.

JEE Main review for March is similar to Feb 2021 attempts.  The JEE Main 2021 difficulty level was easy to moderate level with some good questions interspersed here and there. Most of the questions were either directly taken from NCERT or were closely based on NCERT concepts.

This time AR Type of questions were around 5-6 in chemistry that is a little different from usual. 

Physics (Easy to Moderate) - Questions were asked from Mechanics, Electrostatics, Magnetism, Current Electricity, Heat and Thermodynamics and optics. Some of the questions involved lengthy calculations, but overall, it was an easy to moderate level paper.

Mathematics (Moderate to Difficult) - As usual, a few questions involved lengthy calculations. Some students reported that a few questions were somewhat tricky.

Candidates may find below the JEE Main exam pattern to be followed in the March exam:

• JEE Main 2021 exam will be conducted for 3 hour duration.
• The JEE Main question paper will be divided into Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• The maximum marks of JEE Main 2021 is 300.
• There will be 90 questions including MCQs and numerical-value based questions
• Candidates will have a choice to attempt 25 out of 30 questions (There were only 25 mandatory questions in JEE Main 2020 question paper).

Entry has started for JEE Main 2021 exam date - March 16 shift 2.

The National Testing Agency is conducting JEE Mains exam in four sessions this year. The first session was held from February 23 to 26 and JEE Main phase 2 is being held from March 16 to 18. The JEE Main 2021 April exam date is scheduled from April 27 to 30, 2021. JEE Main May 2021 exam date is from May 24 to 28, 2021.

• Physics – Easy to Moderate level. Questions asked from Kinematics, Optics, Electrostatics, Magnetism, Current Electricity, EM waves, Heat and Thermodynamics. 5 to 6 questions from Semi-Conductors, EM Waves and Communication Devices.  Theory Based questions from few chapters of NCERT were asked. 

• Chemistry - Easy level. Questions covered chapters like Chemical bonding, Co-ordination compounds. Inorganic Chemistry had mostly questions from NCERT. Balanced Section so far as coverage of chapters is considered.

The authorities have announced relaxation of 75% JEE Main 2021 eligibility in class 12 for IIT JEE Mains admissions. Originally, candidates should have passed class 12 examination with at least 75% marks and have qualified NTA JEE Mains with high ranks for admissions into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.

NTA has commenced the JEE Main March exam today. JEE Main 2021 March session is being conducted in two shifts from 9 am to 12 noon and evening shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. The NTA JEE Main is being conducted from March 16 to 18. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) shall reopen the JEE Main 2021 application form for the upcoming sessions. As per the official brochure, the JEE Main application form for the following session will be released immediately after the declaration of JEE Mains result for the previous one.

Physics - Overall JEE Main difficulty level for Physics is moderate. In Physics, 12 questions were very easy and direct, 10 moderate. JEE main 2021 questions from Modern Physics and Logic gates were important.

Chemistry - The chemistry section in JEE Main March 2021 was easy. Topics like acidity-basicity, metallurgy, biomolecules and coordination compounds were asked.

Mathematics - The overall JEE Main 2021 Mathematics section was easy to moderate in difficulty. Topics like common tangents, definite and mathematical reasoning were asked.  

As per the JEE Main registration statistics released by NTA, total of 619638 candidates registered for March session. The JEE Main 2021 March exam is being conducted at 792 test centres.

As per the registration statistics released by NTA authorities, 20382 candidates have registered to appear for JEE Main March 2021 with paper medium in regional language. 579759 candidates registered in English for JEE Main 2021 exam date of March and 19497 candidates registered for Hindi.

NTA released the JEE Mains 2021 admit card on March 11. Candidates can download the same from JEE Main official site, jeemain.nta.nic.in by entering application number and date of birth.

The exam centre authorities have opened the gates for candidates. They can now start entering the hall. Before doing so, candidates have to show their JEE Main 2021 admit card March and valid ID proof. Candidates do note that after 8.30 am, no candidate will be allowed inside the exam hall.
