Previous year, the JEE Main application form was released in December and the exam was held in four sessions starting from February.

• Leaving JEE Main 2022 syllabus - Before the commencement of preparation for JEE Main 2022, aspirants are always advised to check the syllabus. • Skipping mock tests - The JEE Main 2022 aspirants must be focusing on completing syllabus and strengthening concepts, however, many candidates tend to give less importance to mock tests. It should be noted that solving JEE Main mock tests at regular intervals is a vital part of preparation. It helps in keeping a constant check on the preparation level and recognise mistakes.

• Ignoring personal notes - One should understand that having self made short notes during preparation helps in the long run. Personal notes will assist in last minute revision and also to remember things for longer periods.
