: The highest Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main rank at which a National Institute of Technology (NIT) closed admission to unreserved seats for BTech in Information Technology in the year 2021 was 1,933 at NIT Karnataka, Surathkal for candidates outside Karnataka. JEE Main 2022 counselling process will begin from September 12.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the JoSAA 2022 counselling dates on the official website josaa.nic.in. The JoSAA 2022 counselling registration and choice filling will begin from September 12 after the JEE Advanced 2022 result. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Advanced 2022 exam on August 28 for admission to various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

Candidates will have to apply for JoSAA counselling 2022 for admission in engineering programmes. NTA declared the JEE Main 2022 result on August 8. While the NIT cut-off list is not out, students can check last year’s cut-offs for information technology to get an idea.
