NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to announce the JEE Main 2022 exam date soon. The NTA JEE 2022 exam date will be notified at jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.nic.in. The JEE Mains 2022 exam will be conducted as a computer based test four times a year - March, April, May and June, as per media reports.

This year, the JEE Main 2022 application form release date has been delayed. Previous year, the JEE Main registration 2022 process began in the month of December, however, this year, there is no official notification on JEE Main 2022 exam or registration date yet.

Ans. Although the NTA has not yet released an update on the number of attempts for JEE Mains 2022, various media reports state that the JEE Mains 2022 exam will be held four times a year - March, April, May and June.
Q. Will 75 percent criteria be removed for JEE 2022?
Ans. As per JEE Main eligibility criteria, for admission to BE/ BTech courses in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, students should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. However, in previous years, the authorities removed the 75% eligibility criteria due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, details on 12th percentage required for JEE Mains 2022 will be updated only after the release of JEE Main 2022 brochure.

Ans. No, the NTA has not released the JEE Main 2022 application form yet. The link for JEE Main registration 2022 will be activated at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2022.
Q Is NCERT enough for JEE Mains?
Ans. According to JEE Mains experts and previous year’s toppers, NCERT is a must do book to crack the NTA JEE exam. However, aspirants should also refer to best books to prepare for JEE Mains 2022 exam.
