The response sheet of JEE Main 2022 will be released soon by NTA at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Along with the response sheet, the JEE Main question paper pdf with solutions will also be updated. 

NTA will release the answer key of JEE Main 2022 soon at the official website. Candidates can refer to the steps given below to download the answer key.

Based on previous year’s trends, JEE Main 2022 result date is likely to be August 5 or 6. Applicants will be able to check the result of JEE Mains 2022 session 1 through application number and date of birth. The link to download the result of JEE Main 2022 will be activated at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

 Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to download the NTA JEE Mains answer key soon from jeemain.nta.nic.in 2022. National Testing Agency has started JEE Main 2022 exam (shift 2) for BArch and BPlan courses at 3 pm today, July 30. Candidates who came late to the exam centre were not permitted to appear for the JEE Main session 2 exam 2022. Candidates will get the unofficial JEE Main answer key, exam analysis and question paper after the completion of shift 2.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will commence the JoSAA 2022 counselling registration at its official website. Students have to complete the JoSAA 2022 registration and choice filling online at josaa.nic.in. The complete schedule of JoSAA counselling and seat allotment process 2022 will be announced soon after the declaration of results.

Paper 1 (BE /BTech): Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.

Paper 2A (BArch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode and Drawing Test (Part-III) in pen and paper-based mode.

Paper 2B (BPlan): Mathematics (Part-I), Aptitude Test (Part-II), and Planning based questions (Part-III) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.

• Candidates are made to stand in a line with social distancing while entering the exam centre.

• Hand sanitizers were kept at the entry point of the exam centre, candidates who enter the JEE Main 2022 exam centre can sanitize their hands properly.

• Candidates should wear face masks all the time inside the exam centre. Those without masks are not allowed to enter the exam hall.

• The temperature of the candidates is checked with the help of the thermogun at the entry of the exam centre.

• Candidates are advised to carry their own sanitizers (50 ml) and transparent water bottle.

Candidates who are appearing in the JEE Main 2022 session 2 exams will not be allowed to bring any electronic gadgets to the exam centre. However, wearing a mask inside the JEE Main 2022 exam centre is mandatory for all candidates. Those who are wearing specific attire due to religious reasons have to reach the exam centre well in advance for frisking.

National Testing Agency has not announced any exact date and time for the declaration of JEE Main result 2022 session 2. NTA is expected to announce the JEE Main 2022 result date on the official websites - jeemain.nta.nic.in or nta.nic.in. JEE Main 2022 exam date for session 2 are July 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2022.

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): Candidates will be provided 4 marks for each correct answer and there will be a negative marking of one mark on each wrong answer.

Questions with numerical value answers: Students will be given four marks for each correct answer and there will be a deduction of one mark for each wrong answer.

Drawing Test (BArch): Two questions are evaluated out of 100 marks. 

Planning Test (BPlan): There are 25 questions that carry 100 marks.

NTA has concluded shift 1 of the JEE Main 2022 exam today at 12 noon. The 1st shift of JEE Main 2022 paper 2 has been conducted in various cities. National Testing Agency (NTA) has mentioned the exam day guidelines in the JEE Main admit card 2022. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully before going to appear in the JEE Main session 2 exam 2022. NTA announced the JEE Main exam date 2022 on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. IIT JEE 2022 Main exam is conducted by NTA in two phases. JEE Main exam 2022 for session 2 is being conducted from July 25 to 30. Today is the last day of the JEE Main session 2 exams 2022 (paper 2 - BArch & BPlan). 

JEE Main 2022 session 2 exam for paper 1 has been concluded on July 29. The Supreme Court directed National National Testing Agency to allow 15 candidates, who faced technical issues in the JEE Main session 1 exam 2022, to participate in the additional session scheduled for July 30.

Candidates who are appearing in the BArch and BPlan paper need to carry the following documents to the NTA JEE Main 2022 exam centres.

The National Testing Agency will start shift 1 of JEE Main 2022 paper 2 (BArch & BPlan) at 9 am today, July 30. Students appearing for the NTA JEE Main 2022 exam have to bring their NTA JEE Main admit card 2022, a valid photo id proof, and a self-declaration form to the exam centre.

There are 23 IITs in India which offer admissions to various engineering programmes. According to the July 29 shift 1 exam analysis prepared by FIITJEE - Mathematics was Moderate while Physics was Easy amongst the three subjects. Overall, this paper was of Moderate level as per students.

• Mathematics – Moderate level. Questions were asked from all chapters with emphasis on Calculus & Algebra.  Straight Line, Circle, Hyperbola had questions with mixed concepts. Calculus had 5 questions one each from Functions, Application of Derivatives, Indefinite & Definite Integral and Differential Equations. In Algebra- Binomial Theorem, Probability, Complex Numbers, Permutation & Combination had a mixed concept question with Matrices, 2 questions each were asked from Sequence & Series, Vectors & 3D Geometry. Few students reported that Numerical Based questions involved some lengthy questions and were tricky. 
• Physics – Easy level. Questions asked from Kinematics, Fluids, Simple Harmonic Motion, Electrostatics, Communication Systems, AC Circuits, Electromagnetic Induction, Heat & Thermodynamics- 2 questions, Current Electricity-2 questions, Optics & Modern Physics-2 questions. Few Numerical based questions had lengthy calculations but were easy. It was a balanced and easy section as per students.
• Chemistry – Easy to Moderate level. Physical & Organic Chemistry were given more weightage compared to Inorganic Chemistry. Questions were asked from Coordination Compounds, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Ores & Metallurgy and Environmental Chemistry. Organic Chemistry had questions from Alcohols, Aryl & Alkyl Halides, Phenols, Amines & Biomolecules. Numerical Based questions mostly from Physical Chemistry. Physical Chemistry had questions from Chemical Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Ionic Equilibrium, Chemical Equilibrium, Solutions & Mole Concept. Students reported Organic Chemistry had some Lengthy questions. Inorganic Chemistry had questions mostly from NCERT.

According to the July 28 shift 2 paper analysis prepared by FIITJEE - Mathematics was Moderate while Physics was easiest amongst the three subjects. Overall, the JEE Main day 4 shift 2 paper was of Moderate level as per students.

Mathematics – Moderate level. Questions covered almost all chapters with weightage to Calculus & Algebra. There were mixed concepts questions from Ellipse & Circle. Questions also asked from Binomial Theorem, Probability, Matrices, Vectors, 3 D Geometry & Complex numbers in Algebra. In Calculus- Indefinite & Definite Integrals had 2 questions. 3D Geometry had 3 questions. Numerical Based questions had lengthy calculations as per students. Few students also reported it was tricky.

Chemistry – Easy to Moderate level. Physical Chemistry was mostly in the Numerical based section. Organic Chemistry had some mixed concepts, lengthy & tricky questions from Phenols, Alcohols, Polymers. In Physical Chemistry, questions were asked from Chemical Kinetics, Chemical Equilibrium, Electro chemistry- 2 questions, Thermodynamics & Solid State. Numerical Based questions from Physical Chemistry were lengthy but easy. Inorganic Chemistry had questions from Coordination Compounds, p Block, Ores & Metallurgy, Environmental Chemistry and Coordination Compounds.

Physics – Easy level. Overall a balanced section. Some scoring questions were asked from Laws of Motion, Work, Power & Energy, Rotational Motion, Heat & Thermodynamics, Kinematics, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, AC Circuits & Communication Systems. Optics & Current Electricity had more than 2 questions each. Numerical based questions were easy. This was a scoring section as per students.

After the conclusion of the JEE Main exam, JoSAA will commence the JEE Main counselling 2022 in online mode. Questions from prominent chapters like coordination compounds,p block, equilibrium, thermodynamics and as also from redox reactions, chemical bonding and chemical kinetics were asked. Overall coverage of the chapters was uniform. A thorough study of the NCERT books, solving NCERT examples and mock tests based on NCERT is the guarantee of success in these types of tests.

Physics: According to most of the students, the Physics part was also of easy level. No less than 6 questions from electricity and magnetics a good number of questions (6 or 7)from mechanics were asked, a question from units and dimensions, and 2 or 3 questions from heat and thermodynamics were asked. Questions from  Optics, Waves and Sound and Modern physics were duly represented in the paper. Other chapters were also included in due proportions. There were a good number of numerical which were largely formula based. Solving a good number of mock tests would prove to be an effective strategy.

Mathematics: The mathematics paper was moderate but slightly time taking due to the lengthy calculations involved. A few good questions were interspersed sporadically. About 7 Questions were asked from Calculus, 5 questions from Coordinate Geometry, not less than 4 from Vectors & 3D and not less than 5 questions from Algebra were there. Almost all the topics were covered. Again practice through mock tests holds the key.
