NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 is expected to be held from March instead of February due to the upcoming assembly elections in five states. The engineering entrance exam, JEE Mains 2022 will be conducted four times by the National Testing Agency this year as well, as per the Times of India report. The NTA JEE Main 2022 dates will be announced soon at jeemain,nta.nic.in.
As per the latest update on JEE Main 2022 registration date , the government has decided to conduct the JEE Mains 2022 four times from March, April, May and June. The JEE 2022 will, however, not begin from February as five states are going for polls early next year.
However, the other national level entrance examinations, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET 2022 ) for MBBS admission and Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET), will be held in May and June respectively, the report said.
The NTA is expected to soon release the JEE Main 2022 application date, exam schedule on the official website.
The report further added that the NEET UG 2022 will be conducted only once and no decision on multiple attempts for the medical entrance examination has been taken yet. JEE 2022, NEET 2022 aspirants have been demanding an update on exam dates on social media. Several students have also requested multiple attempts, extra chance in NTA JEE Mains 2022 and cancellation of 75% criteria.

The CUCET exam 2022 for central universities which was scheduled to be conducted this year was not held due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, however, the University Grants Commission has asked universities to prepare to hold the CET exam 2022.
