NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency will soon release the JEE Main 2022 exam date at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Students are advised to start preparing for the JEE Mains 2022 exam irrespective of the release of exam dates. Provided that, candidates who are appearing in class 12 are also eligible for the NTA JEE Main 2022 exam. The examination is expected to be held in four phases for the 2022 session. Each phase will be conducted in an online centre based mode.

Below are some of the common mistakes that one commits during JEE Main 2022 exam preparation. Aspirants should avoid these to score well enough to get admission to one of the best engineering colleges.
Lack of attention and consistency - Students must make sure they are not lacking continuous study and motivation. Although, the JEE Main 2022 exam dates are yet to be released; students must aim to revise the complete syllabus at least twice before the JEE Main exam date 2022.
Not focusing on NCERT textbooks and concepts - It is important to understand and practice primarily from the NCERT textbooks of classes 11 and 12. Since the JEE Main exam 2022 consists of the syllabus majorly from CBSE.
Not attempting enough mock tests - The JEE Main 2022 mock tests helps a candidate to command over the accuracy and time management during the exam time; a good practice of mock test must not be skipped for JEE Main exam.
Ignoring self-made revision notes- It is difficult to complete the whole syllabus right before the examination. Thus, students must create short notes/revision notes to revise during the JEE Main 2022 exam day.
Sacrificing sleep during exam days - Candidates must make sure not to compromise their sleep schedule during the examination days. Proper sleep would help candidates to gain concentration during the JEE Main 2022 exam.
An important aspect of preparation is to understand the JEE Mains 2022 syllabus and exam pattern. Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2022 will be conducted in an online mode. The examination will be held for 3 hours each for both papers 1 and 2. There will be 4 marks allotted for each correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. However, no marks will be deducted for unattempted questions. There are around 1622 colleges participating in the examination.
