NEW DELHI: JEE Main 2023 is being held in two sessions this year -- January and April. National Institutes of Technology (NITs) use the JEE Main scores for admissions to various programmes offered at the undergraduate (UG) engineering level. All the NITs hold separate counselling processes through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

For admission to NITs, half of the seats are reserved for candidates from within the state in which the NIT is located and the remaining are for those from other states. Generally, in the case of open and unreserved seats, students from outside the state will require higher ranks or NTA scores.

Last year, six rounds of JoSAA counselling were conducted and given below are the Round 6 ranks at which the NITs provided admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. The cut-off ranks for reserved seats and seats for women and differently-abled candidates are different.
