NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the JEE Main 2023 exam dates at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2023 exam will be conducted on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, followed by Session 2 on April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2023. Along with the NTA JEE Main 2023 exam dates, the officials have also started the registration process for the engineering entrance exam at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can fill the JEE Mains application form 2023 till January 12.

JEE Main 2023 registration open: Instructions

The JEE Main registration 2023 is open at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Before filling out the application form of JEE Main 2023, aspirants are advised to check the important instructions released by the NTA: 

  • Candidates can apply for JEE (Main) - 2023 through the “Online” mode only through the website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Mains 2023 application form in any other mode will not be accepted.
  • Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. In no circumstances, candidates will be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against such candidates who have filled more than one application form. 
  • Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the online application form are their own or Parents/Guardians only as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered mobile number only.

Is there negative marking in JEE Mains 2023?

Yes. As per the official notification of JEE Mains 2023, there will be negative marking of one marks. For each correct answer four marks will be awarded and for each incorrect answer one marks will be deducted. However, there will be no mark deducted for unanswered questions.
