NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 correction window to edit their category in the application form today, April 22. Candidates who have not made the necessary corrections in the category in their JEE Main 2023 application form can do so through the official website-- jeemain.nta.nic.in, The edit window will remain open till 11:50 pm today. After receiving requests from candidates to allow them to edit or modify their category in the JEE Main 2023 online application form, NTA took the decision to allow to make the necessary changes.

Candidates can only change their categories in the JEE Main 2023 application form and the supporting documents will be verified during counselling or admission.

JEE Main 2023 application form: How to edit category

Candidates can follow the below steps to edit the category in the form.-

  • Step 1: Visit the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Step 2: Then click on the 'Correction Window for Category of the Online Application Form of JEE Main 2023' link.
  • Step 3: Enter the necessary credentials.
  • Step 4: The JEE Main 2023 application form will get displayed.
  • Step 5: Edit the category and save the changes.
  • Step 6: Download and take a printout of the page.

This year, JEE Main exam was held in two sessions. The first session was on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and February 1, 2023 and the second session was held on April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15, 2023.
