NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 session 2 registration is expected to begin soon. JEE Mains 2023 April session registration link will be available on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. Aspirants will be able to register for the second session with the help of their login credentials.

JEE Main 2023 April registration latest updates
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2023 session 2 on April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. The exam city intimation for JEE 2023 April session will be issued in the third week of March whereas JEE Main admit card 2023 for session 2 will be out in March last week.
How to fill JEE Main 2023 application form
- Go to the JEE Main official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Click on the link for JEE Main 2023 session 2 registration
- Enter the application number and password to complete the application form.
- Enter personal and academic details and upload the required documents as per the specification.
- Pay the JEE Main 2023 application fee in online mode.
- Submit the JEE Mains 2023 application form for session 2 and download for future reference.
NTA announced the JEE Main 2023 session 1 result for paper 1 (BE, BTech) on February 6. 20 candidates scored a 100 percentile in BE and BTech paper of JEE Main 2023 January session. 8.6 lakh candidates registered in this year’s JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam of which, 8,23,967 students appeared in the first session.

Important points on admit card

- In no case, the duplicate admit card for JEE Main 2023 would be issued at the examination centres.
- The candidates must not mutilate the admit card or change any entry made therein.
- Candidates are advised to preserve their admit cards in good condition for future reference.
- No, admit card shall be issued to the candidates whose applications are found to be incomplete for any reasons (including indistinct/ doubtful photographs/unsigned applications) or who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria for the examination.

- Candidates who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination.
- In case the Class 12 Examination is not a public examination, the candidate must have passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination earlier.

The JEE Main 2023 is being conducted in two sessions. The candidates will thus benefit in the following ways:
- This will give two opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they are not able to give their best in one attempt.
- On the first attempt, the students will get a first-hand experience of taking an examination and will know their mistakes which they can improve while attempting for the second time.
- This will reduce the chances of dropping a year and droppers would not have to waste an entire year.
- If anyone missed the examination due to reasons beyond control (such as the board exam), then he or she will not have to wait for one entire year.
