NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 session 2 registration. JEE Mains second attempt registration link is active now on the official website -- jeemain.nta.nic.in. Aspiring candidates will be able to register for the JEE Main 2023 session 2 exams through the login window.

NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2023 session 2 examinations on April 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12. "The dates of advance intimation of examination city, downloading of admit cards, and declaration of result will be displayed on JEE (Main) portal in due course," NTA said in an official notice earlier.
JEE Main paper 2 result will be declared soon on the official website. On February 6, NTA declared the JEE Main 2023 session 1 result for paper 1- BE and BTech. 20 candidates scored 100 percentile in BE and BTech paper of JEE Main 2023 first session. About 8.6 lakh candidates registered in this year’s JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam of which, 8,23,967 students appeared in the first session.

UP board exams 2023 will be held in two shifts, the first from 8 am to 11:15 am and the second between 2 pm and 5:30 pm. Students are required to report at the examination centre 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
The last date for the JEE Main 2023 session 2 registration is March 12, 2023.
A candidate need not appear in both JEE Main 2023 sessions. However, if a candidate appears in more than one session then their best of the JEE Main 2023 NTA Scores will be considered for preparation of the JEE merit list and ranking.
For appearing in the JEE Main 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 or equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in the exam. However, the candidates may be required to fulfil the age criteria of the institutes to which they are desirous of taking admission.
NTA informed that candidates who have applied and successfully paid the exam fee for JEE Main 2023 session 1 and wish to appear for JEE Main 2023 session 2, are required to log in with their previous application number and password as provided in Session 1. They can only choose the paper, medium of exam, state code of eligibility and cities for session 2 and pay the exam fees. Candidates who have already registered for session 1 are not required to register again.
"The candidates are not allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Any candidate with more than one Application Number will be treated as UFM (Unfair Means), even if found at a later stage, and strict action will be taken against that Candidate," warned NTA.
JEE Main 2023 second session will be conducted on April 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12.
NTA has not yet announced JEE Main paper 2 result 2023 or result date. While announcing paper 1 result, the testing agency said paper 2 result "in a few days".
"All candidates (already registered and new registration) are required to upload address proof (Present and permanent address) during the online Application Form of JEE (Main) – 2023 Session 2. The address proof may include AADHAAR Card, Domicile Certificate, Passport, Voter ID card, etc. Both documents (if applicable) are to be merged and uploaded in a single pdf file. If the Present and Permanent addresses are same, then the same document will suffice," said NTA in the official notification.
As per NTA's latest notification, JEE Mains session 2 dates are April 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12 while April 13 and 15 are reserved dates.

JEE Main 2023 session 2 notice has been withdrawn from the official websites -- jeemain.nta.nic.in, nta.ac.in.
In several states with sizable tribal populations, Class 10 board exam pass percentages hover around the halfway mark. These include Gujarat (55%), Assam (57.9%), and Meghalaya (52.68%). Similarly, in Class 12, Karnataka’s pre-university examination (PUE) saw an average of 58.74% students from Scheduled Tribes clearing the exam; this was 59% in Tripura, 63.44% in Kerala and 64.5% in Orissa.

The JEE Main session 2 registration fee for Male candidates of Unreserved, Gen-EWS and OBC categories is Rs 1,000. Female candidates of Unreserved, Gen-EWS and OBC categories have to pay Rs 800 and SC, ST, PwD and Transgender category candidates have to pay Rs 500 as JEE Main 2nd attempt registration fee.

According to the JEE 2023 information brochure, the last date to fill out JEE Main 2023 session 2 registration is March 7.
The NTA will soon announce the JEE Main paper 2 result on the official website-- jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who have appeared for JEE Main 2023 paper 2A Barch and paper 2B BPlanning can check the JEE Main paper 2 result using the application number and date of birth.

At the time of registration for JEE Mains 2nd attempt regsitration, candidates will have to keep ready the scanned copy of the following documents.

These are the steps to fill NTA JEE main session 2 registration form:
The JEE Main session 2 registration fee for Male candidates of Unreserved, Gen-EWS and OBC categories is Rs 1,000. Female candidates of Unreserved, Gen-EWS and OBC categories have to pay Rs 800 and SC, ST, PwD and Transgender category candidates have to pay Rs 500 as JEE Main 2nd attempt registration fee.
NTA will soon release the JEE Main 2023 cut off, however, candidates can check the category-wise expected cut off provided here.

JEE Mains session 2 registration date will be out at jeemain.nta.nic.in soon. Earlier the JEE Mains 2023 April registration was slated to be commenced on February 7.
The JEE Mains second attempt 2023 exam date is April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, 2023.
NTA declared the JEE Main paper 1 session 1 result on February 7. As many as 20 candidates have scored a 100 NTA score in BE and BTech paper of JEE Main 2023 session 1 result.
NTA is expected to begin the JEE Main 2023 April session registration soon. The JEE Main 2023 session 2 registration was earlier slated to commence on February 7.
