JEE Main 2023 revised date, Bihar board 12th exam clash; students urge NTA, BSEB to reschedule

NEW DELHI: The new date of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 has left Bihar students in a sweat as JEE Main 2023 exam scheduled for February 1 is clashing with Bihar board Class 12 mathematics exam. Students appearing for Bihar board exam 2023 took to Twitter to narrate their ordeal and urged the exam authorities to change exam dates. JEE Main 2023 Live Updates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently revised JEE Main 2023 exam dates. Now, JEE Main 2023 will be conducted on January 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31 and February 1. Earlier, the test was also scheduled on January 27, however it has been withdrawn. Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2023 will be held on January 27.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) 12th board exam 2023 mathematics exam will be conducted in the first shift on February 1 from 9:30am to 12:45pm. The timing of JEE Main 2023 is 9am to 12 noon. While some students appearing for Bihar board Class 12 exam urged BSEB to extend exam dates, other candidates requested NTA to change the date.

A candidate urged NTA on Twitter, “sir my 12th board paper is on 1st february and my jeemain exam is on the same day. please help I request you.”

A student said on Twitter, “Bihar School Examination Board, Intermediate, Patna 12th exam is starting from 01–02–2023 and JEE (Main) exam is also on 01–02–2023, how can I give both exams on the same date, so I request BSEB to please extend the 12th board exam date.”

Another student urged NTA to change the exam date and tweeted, “Sir please change my date of jee main because my board BSEB examination is starting from 1 feb”

Another candidate wrote, “Bihar board maths intermediate exam and JEE Main 2023 exam will be conducted on February 1. Should I appear for JEE or Bihar board exam? What is this way of NTA for changing exam dates?”
