The JEE Main application correction to edit state code of eligibility and category was commenced on February 3, 2023. NTA allowed aspirants to make the corrections in the particulars online. "It is a final opportunity for the candidates before the declaration of result to avoid any hardship to them, so the candidates are advised to do the correction very carefully, as no further opportunity for correction will be given to the candidates," said NTA in an official notification.

The state code of eligibility refers to the code of the state from where the candidate is appearing in or has qualified Class 12 (or equivalent) qualifying examination by virtue of which the candidate becomes eligible to appear in JEE Main 2023 exam and to get admission in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).
NTA has conducted the JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam on January 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31 and February 1, 2023. The testing agency has released the JEE tentative answer key on February 2 and invited grievances from candidates against it till February 4. The JEE Main result and final answer key are expected to be out soon.
