As per FIITJEE Noida, JEE Main 2024 exam analysis for chemistry section is as follows:

Organic Chemistry had more questions as compared to Inorganic and physical chemistry. Some questions from Colloids, GOC, Amines, Aldehydes and Ketones, Biomolecules, Phenol and Ethers, Aryl and Alkyl Halides, Mole Concept, Electrochemistry, d-block elements. The question paper included NCERT fact-based questions which made it easy for students.

According to JEE Main 2024 exam analysis by FIITJEE, questions were asked from almost all chapters. Some questions from chapters of Kinematics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Sound and waves, Rotational Motion, Optics, Current Electricity, Modern Physics, Atoms & Nuclei were there in the question paper. 

As per FIITJEE analysis, JEE Main 2024 January 27 shift 2 mathematics section was easy. Weightage was given to chapters of Coordinate Geometry and Calculus. Questions from Circle, Ellipse and Hyperbola, Functions, Limits and Continuity, Differentiability, Differential Equations, Definite Integral, Differential Equations, Permutation and Combination, Binomial Theorem, Progressions, Statistics, Matrices and Determinants, Probability and Vectors. The numerical based section had lengthy calculations but was easy.

As per FIITJEE analysis, the JEE Main 2024 shift 2 paper was balanced. The questions covered almost all chapters of Class 11 and Class 12 CBSE board. Students found all the sections 'easy'. 

Candidates who appeared for JEE Main 2024 shift 2 exam found the physics and mathematics sections lengthy and some questions in the chemistry sections from the JEE Main 2024 deleted syllabus.

The authorities have started the JEE Main 2024 shift 2 entry along with the release of shift 1 candidates.

1. Numerical based questions were easy. Few fact-based questions from class XII chapters of NCERT were also asked. Students felt more weightage given to XII Class chapters.
2. Chemistry – Easy to Moderate. Organic Chemistry was given more weightage compared to Physical & Inorganic Chemistry. Questions asked from Coordination Compounds, Atomic Structure, Chemical Equilibrium, Electrochemistry, General Organic Chemistry, Biomolecules, Amines, Electrochemistry, Mole Concept, Phenols, Aryl & Alkyl halides.
3. In terms of order of Difficulty – Mathematics was Moderate while Physics was Easy Overall, this paper was of Moderate level as per students.  
4. Students were given a booklet for rough work.
5. There was tight invigilation as per students.
6. No errors were reported in the question papers.
