NEW DELHI: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) counselling 2024 on the basis of JEE (Main) 2024 score. The National Test Agency (NTA) will conduct Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main 2024) session 1 on January 24 and February 1, 2024.

The JEE Main 2024 session 2 will be held between April 1 to 15, 2024. The JEE Main April session registrations will start on February 2, 2024.
Candidates can check the previous year cut-offs of Bachelor of Technology (BTech Mechanical Engineering) here. Students can appear for the JEE Main exam 2024 for three consecutive years. Since there are two sessions of JEE Main exam every year, candidates can appear for a total of six attempts.
NIT JEE Main cut-offs in BTech Mechanical Engineering
Half of the seats in NITs are usually reserved for the students of host states. The remaining seats will be available to students of other states. The JoSAA conducts six rounds of counselling for admission to NITs. The closing ranks for host state students in NITs are as follows:
