Try NowNEW DELHI: The admission to National Institute of Technology (NIT Durgapur) will conduct admission into its bachelor programmes on the basis of JEE Main 2024. The most preferred programme at NIT Durgapur was BTech in Computer Science. The highest closing rank for open category students for this programme was 10070 at the institute.

The NIT Durgapur offers 11 undergraduate and dual degree programmes, including civil engineering, biotechnology, engineering physics, production engineering computer science and engineering, and others.

The counselling process for the NIT Durgapur will be held by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) through six rounds. The JoSAA will hold counselling on the basis of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main 2024). The first session of JEE Main 2024 between January 24 and February 1 and second session from April 1 to 15.
Half of the seats in NIT Durgapur will be reserved for students belonging from West Bengal. The JoSAA will release separate lists of SC, ST and OBC categories, along with open category students. Separate list for female candidates (for every category) will be released by JoSAA.
