NEW DELHI: Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 session 1 will be conducted from January 24 to February 1. The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently closed the JEE Main 2024 application correction window and is expected to issue the JEE Main 2024 exam city slip soon at jeemain.nta.ac.in.

The National Institutes of Technology (NITs) will offer admission to their engineering programmes through the JEE Main 2024 exam scores. The admission process will include BTech counselling conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Once the JEE Main 2024 result is declared, NITs will release their BTech cut offs for computer science and engineering and other courses.

NIT Tiruchirappalli also known as NIT Trichy is one of the top NITs in the country and offers engineering admissions at a higher JEE Main cut-off. For the 2023-24 session, the highest closing rank at which the institute closed admission to its BTech programmes was 1,509 for gender-neutral open seats for the students outside the state.
