NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has answered the frequently asked questions on Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024. Students who applied for the engineering entrance exam can check the FAQs on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The exam authority has answered questions regarding the JEE Main 2024 registration, application form, sessions, paper, and correction window. A total of 10 questions have been answered.
Q: Can I make corrections in my online application form for JEE Main 2024?
A: Candidates will get the opportunity to make corrections in the JEE Main 2024 application form on the website only after the conclusion of the JEE Main 2024 registration.
Q: Can I add more sessions (session 1 or session 2) during the application correction?
A: Yes, candidates can add session 2 along with the first session while filling the application form during the correction window. Students will have to pay the required fee.
Q: Can I remove any selected session during the correction window period?
A: Candidate can remove session 2 of 2024 during the correction window period. However, the fee of removed session will not be refunded.
Q: Can I interchange sessions (from session 1 to session 2 or vice versa) during the correction window period?
A: No, a candidate can not interchange sessions.
Q: Can I add more papers during the correction window period?
A: Yes, candidates can add more papers during the correction window period. For this, they will have to pay the fee for added paper, if applicable.
Q: Can I remove any selected paper during the correction window period?
A: Yes, candidates can remove or add any selected paper (paper 1 or paper 2A or paper 2B) during the correction window period. However, the fee of removed paper will not be refunded.
Q: I have paid the fee more than once but my confirmation page is not downloaded. What to do in this case?
A: Candidates are advised to wait for 24 hours until the payment status is updated. In case the confirmation page is not generated even after 24 hours of payment of the fee, then the candidate may approach the concerned bank or payment gateway to ensure the successful payment or to obtain the refund of duplicate or multiple payments.
Later, if payment is reflected with NTA, the amount of duplicate transactions will be refunded after the declaration of the final result of JEE Main 2024.
Q: Contact details of ICICI Bank given on page 58 of information bulletin of JEE Main 2024 have been updated.
A: If candidates are paying through ICICI Bank, the helpline number is 1800-22-2884 available Monday to Friday from 9.30 AM to 5.30 PM.

A: Yes, NTA has extended the last date to fill the JEE Main 2024 application form.
Q: When will the JEE Main 2024 correction window open?
A: JEE Main 2024 correction window will be opened from December 6 to December 8.
