NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main 2024) session 1 exam - conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) - will begin from tomorrow, January 24. Candidates appearing for the engineering entrance exam should carry the JEE Main admit card 2024 and a valid ID proof to the exam hall. JEE Main 2024 BArch, BPlan exam live

JEE Main 2024 session 1 will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. The NTA will conduct the exam tomorrow only for candidates who have applied for the BArch and BPlanning paper. Students should note that the JEE Mains paper 2 will be held in the second shift.

As per the schedule, JEE Main paper 1 exams 2024 will begin from January 27. Candidates will be able to download the JEE Main 2024 admit card from the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.

JEE Main 2024 Session 1: Things to carry

Candidates should carry all the necessary documents to the exam centre to be allowed entry. Here’s the list of documents required.

  • Candidates will have to carry a printed copy of JEE Main 2024 admit card along with a self-declaration (undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website. The self-declaration form is issued along with the hall ticket.
  • Students must carry one passport-size photograph identical to that uploaded in the application form.
  • Candidates will be required to carry an original ID, i.e, school Identity card, PAN card, driving licence, voter ID, passport, or Aadhaar card for verification purposes.
  • Those who want to claim relaxation under the PwD category will have to produce the PwD certificate issued by an authorised medical officer.
  • Aspirants are required to carry a black or blue ball pen.
  • They will also be allowed to carry a transparent water bottle.
