NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main 2025) three days before the exam date. Candidates can expect the JEE Main admit card 2025 for session 1 exams starting from January 22 soon on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The NTA may also issue the JEE Main hall ticket in multiple phases like last year. As per the schedule, the JEE Main paper 1 for BE, BTech will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 and paper 2 for BArch and BPlanning on January 30. The hall tickets for paper 1 and 2 were released on different dates last year.
The JEE Main 2025 admit card will be hosted on the NTA official websites, nta.ac.in, jeemain.nta.nic.in, or examinationservices.nic.in. Candidates will have to key in their application number, password on the download link.
“In case a candidate is unable to download his/ her Admit Card from the website, he/ she should approach the NTA Help Line Number: 011-40759000 between 10.00 A.M. to 05.00 P.M,” the IIT JEE Main information brochure read.
National Institutes of Technology ( NITs ), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Centrally-funded technical institutions (CFTIs) will use JEE Mains score for offering admission to its BTech programmes. However, Indian Institutes of Technology ( IITs ) considers JEE Main as the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced , the final entrance exam for IIT admissions.

JEE Main 2025: Five major changes in this year's exam
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced several changes in the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main 2025).
- The JEE Main exam will not have optional questions in Section B for both paper 1 and paper 2.
- There is no age limit for appearing in the exam. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE Main 2025.
- Age and JEE Main application number will not be considered for tie-breaking .
- Number of exam centres have been reduced to 284.
