JEE Main 2025 Admit Card LIVE: NTA to issue JEE session 1 hall tickets 3 days before exam; latest updates

The Supreme Court has allowed third attempt for JEE Advanced 2025 to candidates who dropped between November 5 and November 18, last year.

According to the NTA JEE Main 2025 exam schedule, BArch and B Planning papers are scheduled on January 30.

As per NTA JEE Main 2025 information bulletin, all calculation and rough work are required to be done in sheets provided by the invigilator. After the exam, candidates are required to hand over the rough sheets to the invigilator.

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has announced to hold an additional round for students belonging to North Eastern States and Some of Union Territories (CSAB-NEUT). Around 2,000 seats have been notified under the state quota for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs within the north-eastern states, along with around 740 seats across India under the NEUT category.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced several changes in the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main 2025).

• The JEE Main exam will not have optional questions in Section B for both paper 1 and paper 2.
• There is no age limit for appearing in the exam. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE Main 2025.
• Age and JEE Main application number will not be considered for tie-breaking .
• Number of exam centres have been reduced to 284.
• The JEE Main official website has been changed to jeemain.nta.nic.in.

• 300 marks for Paper-1 (BE, BTech)
• 400 marks for Paper-2A (BArch)
• 400 marks for Paper-2B (BPlan)

Scoring 120 marks in JEE Main 2025 will typically correspond to achieving 96.0687115-96.93721175 percentile.

The duration of JEE Main 2025 exams varies by paper:

• Paper 1 (BE, BTech): 3 hours.
• Paper 2A (BArch) and Paper 2B (BPlanning): 3 hours 30 minutes

As per the JEE Main 2025 exam schedule announced by NTA, paper 1 (BE, B Tech) will be conducted in two shifts

• First shift 9:00 am to 12 noon
• Second shift: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has introduced an additional counselling round for northeast student appearing in JEE Main 2025. The additional CSAB special counselling round will be conducted for those who do not secure seats in the initial JoSAA and CSAB rounds for NIT admissions.
