JEE Main 2025: BTech Computer Science Engineering cut-offs at NITs went up this year

NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main cut-off for BTech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme at the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) went up this year at most of the institutes. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2025 session 1 from January 22 to 31.
Candidates who qualify the engineering entrance exam will be eligible for admission to the undergraduate programmes at NITs. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the counselling process for BTech admissions at NITs.
Five rounds of JoSAA counselling were held this year instead of six. The highest NIT cut-off for BTech CSE was 1,224 at NIT Tiruchirappalli for candidates outside state. The institutes will issue separate cut-offs for state quota, gender, and category.
JEE Main comprises two papers -- paper 1 for BE, BTech and paper 2 for BArch, BPlanning. The exam is also a prerequisite for JEE Advanced held for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
