The JEE Mains 2025 session 2 exam will be held from April 1 to 8. Aspirants will be able to complete the JEE Main session 2 registration 2025 on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

As per the NTA schedule, the JEE Main 2025 session 2 registration deadline is February 24. Candidates will also get an opportunity to make an edit on their already submitted form. However, the JEE Mains 2025 application form correction dates are not yet announced.

JEE Mains exam pattern 2025
The NTA has revised the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern. As per the JEE Main 2025 revised pattern , section B will not include optional questions. There will be only 5 questions per subject in JEE Main and students will be required to answer all 5 questions. The JEE main 2025 syllabus includes topics from three subjects - physics , chemistry, mathematics .
JEE Main 2025 exam will consist of 3 papers- paper 1 for BTech, BE, Paper 2A for BArch, and 2B for BPlan. JEE Main 2025 paper 1 will have 75 multiple-choice questions. The JEE Main 2025 BTech paper will carry 300 marks.
JEE Main 2025 exam analysis for session 1
The JEE Mains 2025 session 1 was scheduled from January 22 to 30. The difficulty level of JEE Mains 2025 exam was easy to moderate in the first 3 days. As per JEE Mains 2025 exam analysis for session 1, straight forward questions were asked in chemistry and physics sections, but maths section was a bit lengthy. Several candidates who appeared for the Jan 23 shift 1 exam reported errors in JEE Mains question paper 2025 .

JEE Main Session 2 Registration: How to create password?
For JEE Main session 2 registration, candidates are advised to create a password that is 8 to 13 characters long. They are required to choose a security question and its answer, which will be used to retrieve the password in case required in future. The password should be created as per the following:
- Should be 8 to 13 characters long.
- Should have at least one upper case alphabet.
- Should have at least one lower case alphabet.
- Should have at least one numeric value.
- Should have at least one special character eg.!@#$%^&*-.

JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria: List of qualifying exams
The list of qualifying exams for JEE Main 2025 session 2 is given below.
- Class 12 board exam conducted by any recognized central or state educational board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) etc.
- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University exam (PUC) conducted by a recognized board or university.
- Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy
- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with a minimum of five subjects.
- Any public school, board, or university exam in India or any foreign country is recognized as equivalent to the Class 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
- A diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of at least 3 years duration.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London, Cambridge, or Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
- High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
- Candidates who have completed the Class 12 or equivalent exam outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination.
- Candidates should have passed at one public exam either Class 12 board exam or pre-university exam.
