JEE Main 2025 Live: Updates on exam date, registration, official website, paper pattern

NTA has announced a major change in JEE Main 2025 exam pattern. According to the JEE Main new pattern, optional questions have been removed from section B of all the sections. Therefore, all questions will be mandatory for the candidates to attempt and they will not get to select from a certain number of questions anymore. JEE Main question paper comprises two sections.

• Login and fill the form by adding required details
• Upload the documents and pay the registration fee

The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently announced that the official website for JEE Mains 2025 will be jeemain.nta.nic.in. All the information including JEE Main 2025 exam date, registration date, application form, information bulletin, and more will be notified on this website only. 

No, for JEE Main 2025, candidates are required to score at least 75% marks in Class 12 or equivalent exam and for JEE Advanced 2025, they should be in top 20 percentile. NTA may announce changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria in the JEE Main 2025 information bulletin.

A total of 9,24,636 common candidates registered for paper 1 in JEE Main 2024 exam. 12,21,624 applied for JEE Main session 1 and 11,79,569 submitted application forms for session 2 exam. 14.76 lakh was the number of unique candidates in both sessions. 

JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam is likely to be conducted in January 2025, as per last year's trends and a notification issued by the Goa board. GBSHSE rescheduled Goa HSSC board exams 2025 for February to avoid clash with JEE Main exam in January last week. 

Based on past year's trends, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 registration for session 1 exam is expected to commence in November. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main application form 2025 on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
