NEW DELHI: In a new update, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 candidates have been asked to fill a non-Aadhaar declaration form in order to appear for the exam. The declaration seeks information as to why an applicant’s image does not match with their face in the JEE Main 2025 application form submitted on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Those candidates who did not use Aadhaar Card details during the JEE Mains 2025 registration will have to submit the declaration to the NTA. Through the form, candidates will declare that their candidature for JEE Main 2025 session 1 is “genuine” and the online application form is valid.
According to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on JEE Main 2025, mentioning the Aadhaar number while filling the JEE Main application form 2025 was an optional field. However, NTA advised candidates to update their Aadhaar Card as a proof of identity with recent details for verification at the exam centre.

Recently, NTA found errors in JEE Main 2025 photos uploaded by the applicants and asked them to rectify the images in the JEE Main 2025 application form. Candidates were allowed to upload the photographs as per specifications between January 16 and 17.
