The changes not allowed in the JEE Main 2025 application form include the mobile number, E-mail address, address (both permanent and present), emergency contact details, and the photograph of the candidate. These fields cannot be modified during the application correction process

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet announced the JEE Main 2025 eligibility criteria. Last year, the exam agency reintroduced the 75% criteria, requiring students to score at least 75% marks in Class 12 to be eligible. NTA has reduced the international exam centres for JEE Mains this year. As per the JEE Main 2025 information bulletin, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Mauritius, Russia, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam have been removed from international centres.

The NTA has advised candidates to create a password that is 8 to 13 characters long. In addition, candidates must choose a security question and provide an answer, which will be used to retrieve the password in the future. The password must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Be 8 to 13 characters long.
• Contain at least one uppercase letter.
• Contain at least one lowercase letter.
• Contain at least one numeric digit.
• Contain at least one special character (e.g., !@#$%^&*-).

Till now, NTA has not mandated any criteria for the age of candidates appearing for the JEE Mains 2025. Students of any age can appear in the exam, but only for three consecutive years from passing their class 12.

• The recent photograph should be in either colour or black and white, with 80% of the face (without a mask) visible, including the ears, against a white background.
• Both the scanned photograph and signature must be in JPG or JPEG format and clearly legible.
• The size of the scanned photograph should range from 10 KB to 200 KB.
• The size of the scanned signature should range from 4 KB to 30 KB.
• The scanned copy of the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) certificate should be in PDF format, between 50 KB and 300 KB, and clearly legible.
