JEE Main 2025 exam pattern, new changes

This year, the testing agency has dropped the optional questions from section B of the JEE Main exam. Now, instead of choosing five questions from a total of 10, examinees will be required to attempt all five and there will not be any choices of questions.

In order to appear for the exam, the JEE Main 2025 candidates have been asked to fill a non-Aadhaar declaration form. The declaration seeks information on mismatch between image and candidate’s face in the JEE Main 2025 application form.

Recognising the challenges faced by the north-eastern students, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has announced a special round of counselling for those who do not secure a seat through the initial JoSAA, CSAB counselling phases for NIT admissions.
