NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 1 tomorrow, January 22. The NTA JEE Mains 2025 will be conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30 for admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture programmes.

Candidates appearing for the engineering entrance exam can download the JEE Main admit card 2025 from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. It is mandatory to carry the admit card of JEE Main 2025 along with a valid photo ID proof.
In the latest update, NTA has changed the JEE Main exam centre 2025 at Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The exam will be held in 15 cities outside India.
As per the revised JEE Main 2025 exam pattern, there will not be any optional questions in section B of both the papers. JEE Mains comprises two papers – paper 1 for BE and BTech programmes and paper 2 for BArch and BPlanning programmes. The JEE Main 2025 paper 1 will consist of 75 questions on physics, chemistry, and mathematics carrying a total of 300 marks.
JEE Main 2025 exam duration is three hours. The exam will be held in two sessions – shift 1 from 9 am to 12 noon and shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm.

jeemain.nta.nic.in 2025: Forgot password? Here's how to retrieve
The steps to reset your JEE password, in case forgotten, are as follows:
- Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in and click on login window
- Press on registered candidate link and look for ‘forgot password’
- Log in with the One-Time-Password (OTP) provided in email or mobile to proceed with a password change to the new one.
- The user will be redirected to step 2 to create the new password.
- One-Time-Password (OTP) will be the same in both steps.

JEE Main 2025 admit card release date
NTA has already issued the JEE Main admit card 2025 for session 1 exams scheduled for January 22, 23, and 24, on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. For the rest of the exams, the National Testing Agency will issue the admit card of JEE Main 2025 in due course of time.

NTA JEE Main 2025: Revised exam pattern
This year, NTA has scrapped the optional questions from section B of the JEE Main 2025 exam.
